Skiing in the Almenwelt Lofer
A favourite of winter sports enthusiasts and with a large enough ski area to accommodate skiers of all skill levels from beginners to advanced, the Almenwelt Lofer nevertheless remains surprisingly uncrowded. Will you choose to ski on perfectly-groomed pistes or head off-piste for some deep snow skiing? The choice is yours!
The Almenwelt Lofer offers:

- downhill run with an altitude difference of 1,000 metres

Whatever your preferred snow sport - skiing, short-skiing, carving or snowboarding – you will find the conditions at Almenwelt Lofer superb. And with very reasonable ski pass prices, there is nothing to stop you making the most of your time on the slopes!
The Almenwelt Lofer also has special practice areas for beginners and children.
Why not leave your car at home?
The ski area is just 2 km away and easily reached by free ski bus (journey time: around 15 minutes). The bus leaves from outside the hotel to take passengers direct to the valley station in Lofer… so no need to drive! During the morning buses leave every half hour from the hotel and a half-hourly return service also operates in the afternoons.
Use of the ski bus is completely free!
